"Dry Eye / AMD: Meeting the Challenges"
This seminar encompasses two conditions of increasing importance to contemporary examination of aging patients. The first three hours cover “all things dry eye”. It will include current foundational patho-physiology of dry eye syndrome with a heavy emphasis on meibomian gland dysfunction and tear biochemistry. The second three hours cover “all things AMD”, which includes the latest research and treatment options. Nutraceutical and dietary information will be discussed.
