Keys for the Ultimate Practice - What You Need
to Know (AOA/CPC)
This course is designed to be an in-depth look into
the value of leadership, and how the character of a
good leader impacts the overall organization. A look
at how ill-prepared leaders invite a toxicity into an
environment. A transition into how patient scheduling
is critical to the revenue stream within the office.
Why training the entire office schedule discipline
and constant monitoring of the schedule is
necessary. A look at a revenue based formula that
assists a practice calculating their income. A final
look at creating total competence throughout the
practice with effective training, programs, and process management. A review of what is necessary to
assist the attendees in understanding the primary
requirements for a thriving practice. A handout is
given including key points for making practical
leadership decisions. The course will cover critical
elements within a practice that are designed to
improve efficiency within a practice.

This lecture will teach the different techniques for
testing visual acuities and recording the results. This
fun and open scenario will test all articipants into an
open discussion on problem resolution in obtaining
test results from difficult patients and situations.

Ocular Motility & Vision Testing (ABO, AOA/CPC)
This course will discuss issues dealing with
ocular motility and testing motility malfunctions.
A discussion on useful techniques and lectures on
normal and abnormal results will be the focus on
ocular testing. Media clips will be used to
demonstrate the different eye movements.

This class will discuss techniques used to obtain a
thorough patient case history. An open discussion
over scenarios will be performed to enhance thought
provoking techniques and reasons for taking a
complete ocular history. This course will assist
attendees how effective case histories can impact
the outcome of the entire exam

What is Blood Pressure All About?

This lecture will cover taking a blood pressure and
the techniques used in taking a manual blood
pressure. The lecture will also include a
demonstration on taking a manual blood pressure
and an open discussion on when, how, and where
you should take a blood pressure.
